We are selling an 8 berth caravan maintained to a high standard that is situated within the Hawthorns area of Newquay Holiday Park (Parkdean). The Hawthorns area of the park is in a quiet dog free setting with the park facilities just a short 5 minute walk away.

Please note : If you would like to buy our caravan it does not have to stay on the Parkdean site. You can take it wherever you like! There is no obligation to stay on the Parkdean site as part of this sale. However if you do decide to stay the plot where the caravan is sited, it is secured for the length of the licence. There will be no moving of plots over the next few years as does often happen on other sites.

Newquay Holiday Park is within a rural location with the beaches and other locations/attractions nearby. Newquay itself is only 3 miles away. The park is owned and run by Parkdean who have a highly respected reputation across the country for their award winning parks and facilities. This park has a very high ratio of privately owned caravans in balance with their park owned caravans which are solely for Parkdean customers use. The park also puts on owners events throughout the year and the sales team are on site all year to help and advise.

This park appealed to us as it really appeals to families and couples alike. You can go and find adventure if you want to or just enjoy the peace and quiet of your surroundings. Levels of noise are limited up in the Hawthorns area of the park and sometimes all you can hear is birdsong.

Owning a static caravan can mean that you can holiday here in Cornwall yourselves throughout the year and you may also consider inviting family and friends thus keeping it just for your nearest and dearest. Alternatively you could hire it out privately. As we already live in Cornwall we chose to hire out the van privately to enable others around the country to enjoy holidays in the county and as such we do still have bookings through the whole of the 2014 Summer season which we will honour. The caravan will be available for handover on Mon Sept 8th 2014 with the rest of this years site fees already paid. The park closes in November for the winter break.

If you choose to hire out the caravan privately then we have discovered that the bookings through the Summer months will cover the following year's site fees, caravan insurance, gas and electric. Another option is to sublet through Parkdean which pretty much guarantees all year round bookings.

Here are specific details about our caravan. Quality and standards are very important to us so we have spent a lot of time & love on the caravan ensuring that it is in the best condition that it can be.

The Caravan -
* 1 double and 2 twin rooms. There are Dunelm Mill blackout curtains in all the bedrooms that are less than 12 mths old.
* All 5 mattresses in the bedrooms were purchased new this year.
* All the duvets, pillows and bedding are included in the sale. It's all less than 12 mths old.
* Large living area with lots of seating and wide screen T.V with built in Free view & DVD player. The entire seating area was steamed cleaned last July in readiness for the summer season.
* Kitchen area with a fridge and separate freezer, gas cooker, microwave and toaster. New floor lino fitted this year.
* All crockery, pots and pans provided.
* Separate dining area and the seating area here was also steam cleaned last summer.
* Double glazing.
* All lamps in the living areas and bedrooms included.
* Shower room, sink & WC. New floor lino and shower fitted this year.
* A second separate toilet - a must for any family! New floor lino fitted this year.
* There is an additional double pull out bed (som'toile) in the lounge area with a brand new mattress.
* There is a large grassy area outside of the caravan with outside storage. The park insists on all outside storage units being the same design so we paid
